Our misunderstandings of God’s love towards us in Christ enslave us. God is continuously speaking to the lies that we believe, and thereby releasing us more and more into the freedom that He has secured for us in Christ’s finished work.
Primarily, these lies center on what we need to do in order to be loved. The truth is that you can’t do anything, but Christ has done everything.
If you are in Christ, God is infinitely pleased with you. The verdict is in. The court is adjourned. You are free in Christ – Now!
